The Food Show: What to Watch Out for This Weekend

The Food Show: What to Watch Out for This Weekend

The Food Show is known as New Zealand’s Biggest Foodie Extravaganza. A few of us from the IMAGINE team were lucky enough to attend the preview. Here’s a few things that caught our attention:

  1. Treble Cones

Treble Cones offers an unexpected twist on ice cream.

Treble Cones has patented a new design featuring cube-shaped ice cream on a triangular cone. Each cube contains three different flavours. Their range includes classics as well as trendier options like Dubai Chocolate.

  1. Shnack

Protein has been a major trend in recent years, with many companies launching protein-enriched versions of their products—like protein drinks, yoghurts, and chips.

Shnack stood out to us as we had never seen a protein shake in a can before.

Shnack comes in three flavours: Salted Caramel, Vanilla Latte, and Chocolate Brownie. It’s plant-based, high in protein, low in sugar, and low in calories—perfect for gym-goers with a sweet tooth!

  1. Cookie Time Bake Fresh Cookie Dough

Our final pick is a reinvention of a beloved Kiwi classic. Cookie Time has introduced a new cookie dough product that lets you bake their iconic cookies at home.

The dough comes in three flavours: Original Chocolate Chunk, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Macadamia White Chocolate.

There’s no shortage of exciting new products to try at The Food Show this year, whether you’re into sweet treats, high-protein snacks, or fun foodie innovations.
